After more than three weeks of exciting competition, intense matches, and outstanding sportsmanship, the 2025–2026 HUIT Student Sports Festival officially came to an end. On the morning of June 7, 2026, the Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation were held at the Faculty of Physical Education and National Defense–Security, marking the successful conclusion of another memorable sports season for students and staff of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT).

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University, Head of the Sports Festival Steering Committee; Dr. Phan Xuan Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of Student Affairs Office, and Standing Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee; M.A. Nguyen Van Dung, Deputy Head of Student Affairs Office and Vice Chairman of the University Trade Union, along with leaders and representatives from faculties and institutes across the University.

The event attracted nearly 500 student-athletes and supporters from various faculties, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and school spirit.

Following a series of thrilling competitions in four sports categories—Chinese Chess, Badminton, Pickleball, and Volleyball—the most outstanding athletes emerged victorious and were honored with medals, certificates of merit, and cash prizes.

🏆 Overall Team Awards

In addition to the individual events, the race for the Overall Team Championship remained one of the most anticipated highlights of the festival. Thanks to its consistent performance and impressive achievements across multiple disciplines—particularly Chinese Chess and Pickleball—the Faculty of Finance and Accounting was crowned the Overall Champion.:

To recognize the enthusiasm and dedication of supporters throughout the competition, the Organizing Committee also presented the Most Enthusiastic Supporters Award to the Faculty of Information Technology for its creative, energetic, and well-organized cheering performances.

The 2025–2026 HUIT Student Sports Festival concluded successfully, with a total prize value of VND 63 million awarded to deserving individuals and teams. More importantly, the event delivered memorable moments, remarkable athletic performances, and a strong spirit of fair play.
