On January 16, 2020, with the aim of strengthening comprehensive cooperation between both parties, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry agreed and signed a “Memorandum of Understanding on Partnership and Educational Cooperation” with 25 high schools in Ho Chi Minh City.
Through this agreement, both parties agreed to cooperate in activities such as: jointly implementing career orientation programs, guiding students in preparing admission application documents, training soft skills for students; high school students will have opportunities to participate in practical programs at laboratories and practice facilities of Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry; enhancing exchanges through cultural and sports activities to achieve educational goals between both sides. The University will also organize career experience programs for high school students.
In addition, high schools will support Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry in mobilizing students to participate in admission counseling and career orientation activities, guiding them in preparing admission applications. High school students will also benefit from priority admission policies of the University. Teachers from high schools will receive support and training in foreign languages, information technology, application of IT in teaching, and career orientation programs; support in developing IT applications in school management; and facilitate the University in conducting admission activities, promoting its image, displaying logos and banners, and connecting with the University’s website for students.
The Memorandum of Understanding on partnership and educational cooperation creates opportunities for high school students to become familiar with, engage in, and experience the university environment, thereby improving the quality of student intake for Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry.
