On July 6, 2020, the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc paid a working visit to Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI). Representing for HUFI, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan - President welcomed and worked with the delegation.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc had a HUFI tour including classrooms, labs and centers. He highly appreciated the generous contributions of staffs, lecturers and students of HUFI to the university’s education.

He emphasized the responsibilities of leadership for the aim that HUFI will become a national standard unit in training and education. It is important to combine theory with practice and making the internship term in curriculum are offering the students to improve their creative capacities, and academic will be turned into practical products; Make HUFI to be one of the application-oriented universities that pioneers in the food science and technology in the regional and international quality standards.
