On March 22, 2026, the 2026 Ho Chi Minh City Student Karate Championship concluded with an outstanding performance by the delegation from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT). With an impressive achievement of 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals, the HUIT Karate Team excellently secured third place overall.

This year’s tournament brought together 17 participating institutions with more than 250 athletes competing in kata and kumite events. In the face of fierce competition, HUIT students demonstrated resilience, strong competitive spirit, and great determination. Their achievements were not only the result of disciplined training and persistent effort, but also clear evidence of the close support from the University Board of Management and the dedicated guidance of the coaching staff.
