Together with millions of Vietnamese people to overcome many difficulties during the Covid-19 pandemic, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI) has given the support in granting VND 30.6 billion of scholarships and assistance for students in the academic year 2021-2022 by Decision No. 1370/QD-DCT signed by President Nguyen Xuan Hoan.

Despite facing difficulties amid the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, HUFI, a self-financing public education institution, has still provided support to students by increasing a huge amount of scholarships and assistance.

More and more students are highly like to drop out of school as they have bumped into financial difficulties at present. Tuition fee of a new year admission will be increase five percent comparing with the past year admission’s according to the approved route, but HUFI’s Board Managers decided to reduce five percent of tuition fee for freshmen. It is meant that tuition fee of the academic year 2021 - 2022 admission will not change when comparing with the academic year 2021 – 2022’s.

Besides, HUFI has also given the support for all students studying at HUFI by directly reducing five percent of tuition fees. Therefore, the total grant to reduce tuition fee is over VND 10 billion.
