On the afternoon of December 17, 2025, at the Meeting Room of the Ministry of Education and Training, a meeting of the Appraisal Council for the Higher Education Program Standards in the field of Manufacturing and Processing for Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral levels took place. The session was a follow-up step after a broad consultation phase, which included a seminar to provide feedback on the draft standards organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) on the afternoon of November 5, 2025, at HUIT.

In the November program, HUIT participated as a co-organizing partner for a large-scale academic activity, bringing together experts, scientists, and leaders from many higher education institutions. Notably, Meritorious Teacher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Hong Anh – Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, Chairperson of the Advisory Council for Developing Higher Education Program Standards in the field of Manufacturing and Processing, participated in presiding over and promoting in-depth discussions on the competency framework, program structural orientation, and the feasibility of system-wide implementation.
Moving to the appraisal session on December 17, the working agenda was implemented in a strict sequence, with the attendance of representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training along with members of the Appraisal Council for Higher Education Program Standards in the field of Manufacturing and Processing in a hybrid format (in-person combined with online). At the beginning, Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung – Deputy Director of the Higher Education Department, delivered the opening speech for the meeting. Subsequently, a representative of the Advisory Council for Developing Program Standards presented a summary report on the process of developing the standards and the core content of the draft, clarifying the basis and approaches in developing standards for all three levels of training.
In the professional moderation part, Prof. Dr. Trang Si Trung – Vice Chairman of the University Council, Former President of Nha Trang University, Chairman of the Appraisal Council, thoroughly grasped the working principles and oriented the groups of content that needed focused discussion to ensure the draft standards met scientific requirements, consistency, and practical applicability.

On that basis, the Council members in turn contributed critical opinions according to each group of issues, focusing on the coverage of the standards, the continuity between levels, output requirements, and conditions for ensuring training quality.
Notably, Meritorious Teacher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Hong Anh – Vice President of HUIT, participated in the explanation section of the training program development unit, clarifying issues raised by the Council, and at the same time, receiving recommendations to perfect the draft standards according to the conclusions of the Appraisal Council. The content “Explanation of the training program standard development unit” was an official component of the meeting agenda, demonstrating the serious, responsible, and receptive working spirit of the unit in charge of developing the training program standards.
