On March 18, 2026, the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade organized a conference to review Party-building work in 2025 and implement directions and tasks for 2026, with the participation of members of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, Party cell committees of affiliated branches, and all Party members of the University’s Party Organization. This was an important occasion for the University’s Party Committee to comprehensively review the results of Party-building work in 2025, assess achievements, frankly identify shortcomings and limitations, and clearly define key directions and tasks for 2026.

Attending the conference were Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hoàn, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University; Dr. Phan Xuân Cường, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee, and Head of the Office of Student Affairs; Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Thị Hồng Ánh, Member of the Party Committee and Vice Rector; Dr. Thái Doãn Thanh, Member of the Party Committee and Vice Rector; along with other members of the Party Committee, members of the Party Committee’s Inspection Committee, Party cell committees of 16 affiliated branches, and all Party members of the University’s Party Organization.

At the conference, Mr. Phan Xuân Cường, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, presented the report reviewing Party-building work in 2025 and directions and tasks for 2026. The report served as an important basis for the entire Party Committee to review the implementation of political tasks, organizational and Party-building work, inspection and supervision activities, and to reach consensus on solutions to improve the quality of Party organization activities in the coming period.

The conference then moved to the discussion session under the moderation of Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Hoàn, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University. Comments and contributions at the conference focused on the contents of the review report, while also proposing many practical solutions to further enhance the leadership capacity and fighting spirit of grassroots Party organizations, and to promote the pioneering and exemplary role of Party members throughout the University.

Also within the framework of the program, the conference announced commendation decisions for three affiliated Party cells and 76 Party members who were recognized as having “Excellent Task Performance” in 2025. This was a well-deserved recognition for collectives and individuals with outstanding contributions to Party-building work, helping spread the spirit of emulation, responsibility, and dedication throughout the Party Organization.

After a serious, responsible, and effective working session, the conference reviewing Party-building work in 2025 and implementing directions and tasks for 2026 successfully completed all agenda items. The success of the conference further affirmed the comprehensive leadership role of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade in building a clean and strong Party Organization, thereby contributing to the successful fulfillment of the University’s development goals in the new period.
