On the morning of June 30, at Hall C, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI) solemnly held the First Graduation Ceremony of the Year 2022 for new Masters, Engineers and Bachelors.

More than 3,300 graduates have been awarded Master's and Bachelor’s degrees, of which there are 23 Masters, and 255 Bachelors graduated with excellent achievements. The students graduated with excellent study results in each Faculty were awarded with a total amount of nearly 500 million VND. To be specific, the Valedictorian with high distinction is awarded 10,000,000 VND, the Valedictorian with distinction is awarded 5,000,000 VND, followed by graduate student with high distinction: 3,000,000 VND and graduate student with distinction: 1,000,000 VND.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan – President of the University expressed his hope that all the fresh graduates will be able to find suitable working positions where they could make the best use of all the knowledge and skills acquired at HUFI, and accomplish valuable achievements in their future careers.

New Bachelor Phan Thi Quynh Nhu – 09DHAV5 Valedictorian with high distinction in English Linguistics major

Phan Thi Quynh Nhu - 09DHAV5 Valedictorian with high distinction in English Linguistics major, represented the fresh graduates to share about her feelings at one of the most memorable and important events of a student's life. Nhu said that in order to achieve today's achievement, beside the students’ efforts and family’s encouragement, the teachers at HUFI also played an essential and irreplaceable role for providing them with valuable knowledge and lessons. She quoted: "A good teacher is like a candle – It consumes itself to light the way for others" as a word of gratitude and appreciation to every teacher who accompanied the students presented in the hall that day during their times at HUFI. In addition, Phan Thi Quynh Nhu sent her most sincere gratitude to the parents who took care of all the difficulties and hardships to create the best conditions for their children to focus on pursuing their academic journey.

This time, out of a total of 255 Bachelors graduated with excellent achievements, there are 01 Valedictorian with high distinction, 01 Valedictorian with distinction, 08 graduate students with high distinction, and 223 graduate students with distinction. Also in this batch, there are 23 Masters received their diplomas.
