On the morning of January 28, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) held the 11th Meeting of the Quality Assurance Council for 2025. The meeting reviewed the implementation of the quality assurance plan for the 2024–2025 academic year, gathered feedback from relevant stakeholders, and discussed directions for quality improvement as well as key tasks for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Overview of the meeting
The meeting was chaired by Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan, Secretary of the Party Committee, President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, and Chairman of the Quality Assurance Council. Attending the meeting were members of the Quality Assurance Council and quality assurance teams from units across the University.
In his opening remarks, Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan emphasized that quality assurance is not only a mandatory requirement but also a key factor in strengthening the University’s reputation, academic standing, and long-term development. In the context of the Ministry of Education and Training’s strong push for digital transformation, he called on all units to promote collective responsibility, align implementation efforts, and continue enhancing the University’s position.

At the meeting, representing the Center for Quality Management, Ms. Le Thi Linh Giang, Deputy Director of the Center and Standing Member of the Quality Assurance Council, presented the main report, which included three key contents:
Part 1: Report on the implementation results of the Quality Assurance Plan for the 2024–2025 academic year
Part 2: Consultation with stakeholders on issues related to quality assurance activities
Part 3: Discussion and exchange of opinions on improvement direction

According to the Center for Quality Management, the reported results reflect the continuous efforts of the Quality Assurance Council and quality assurance teams across the University in maintaining a stable and effective quality assurance system. Through discussion of survey findings and practical challenges, participants reached broad agreement on solutions for improvement, the standardization of regulations, and the clarification of responsibilities at the unit level. These discussions provide an important basis for developing action plans for the new academic year.
In his concluding remarks, Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan directed all units to place quality at the center of their work, further strengthen the role of faculties and administrative departments, and accelerate digital transformation through synchronized data systems. At the same time, the University will continue to focus on developing the capacity of specialized staff and investing resources in training and scientific research, reaffirming its commitment to concrete and decisive action in further enhancing educational quality and institutional reputation.
The 11th Meeting of the Quality Assurance Council for 2025 concluded with a shared commitment to innovation, responsibility, and effective implementation.
