On May 27, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI), a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony took place to strengthen friendship and enhance cooperation between HUFI and KEWPIE Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Attending the ceremony, from HUFI were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan – Acting Vice Rector, Dr. Dang Tan Hiep – Director of the Institute of Training and International Cooperation, Dr. Nguyen Van Chung – Head of the Faculty of Nutrition and Culinary Science, M.A. Tran Thi Minh Ha – Deputy Head of the Faculty, and M.A. Nguyen Thi Thu Sang – Lecturer of the Faculty. From KEWPIE were Mr. ONO SHINJI – General Director, Mr. KOICHI TAMORI – Sales Director, Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Dung – Department Director, and Mr. Phan Thanh Doanh – Head of Business Department.

Representatives from both sides signed the memorandum of understanding.

This is the first memorandum of cooperation between HUFI and KEWPIE Vietnam. Under the agreement, HUFI will introduce graduates with relevant majors to meet KEWPIE’s human resource needs. At the same time, KEWPIE will collaborate with and support HUFI in training and scientific research, as well as facilitate factory visits and internships for HUFI students majoring in nutrition.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan expressed his pleasure and confidence that this bilateral cooperation would bring high effectiveness to both parties. In particular, KEWPIE will provide valuable learning and practical experience opportunities for HUFI nutrition students.

Representing KEWPIE Vietnam, Mr. ONO SHINJI – General Director, stated that KEWPIE’s mission is to ensure food quality in Vietnam and meet nutritional needs in the field of food safety. With its future development goals, he believes that cooperation with HUFI is the right direction and hopes both sides will support each other for mutual success.

Leaders of both sides affirmed that this cooperation will serve as a bridge to strengthen long-term friendship and partnership. At the end of the ceremony, representatives signed the MOU and exchanged commemorative gifts.
