On April 18, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) held a graduation ceremony for more than 127 students graduating with Excellent distinction, 858 students with Good distinction, and 41 newly graduated Master’s degree holders.
The ceremony was attended by the University’s leadership, along with heads and deputy heads of faculties and departments. In addition, the University had the honor of welcoming nearly 1,000 parents and family members of the new graduates to the event.
At the ceremony, the University honored 28 valedictorians across different majors. Among them, Mr. Ong Sí Tuấn, a graduate of the Chinese Language program, stood out as the top student with the highest GPA of 3.97/4.
The University decided to allocate nearly VND 2.2 billion in rewards for graduates achieving Excellent and Good distinctions in this first phase of 2025. This recognition reflects the students’ dedication and outstanding academic achievements.

The graduation ceremony for Phase 1, 2025 took place from April 18 to April 24, 2025, with a total of 4,438 graduates, including 127 Excellent graduates, 858 Good graduates, 2,914 Fair graduates, and 41 Master’s degree holders. The University also welcomed nearly 1,500 parents and family members during the ceremony period.
According to statistics, more than 90% of HUIT graduates secure employment within six months after graduation. This is strong evidence of the effectiveness of the University’s training programs and its commitment to providing students with a high-quality learning environment, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for career success.
With nearly 43 years of establishment and development, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade currently trains nearly 35,000 students across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, offering programs through 13 faculties, including 37 undergraduate majors, 13 master’s programs, and 7 doctoral programs.
This year, the University has signed cooperation agreements with numerous enterprises in training, internships, employment support, scientific research, and technology transfer. To date, HUIT has established partnerships with more than 500 companies. This further strengthens the University’s reputation and opens up extensive learning and career opportunities for its students in the future.
