On the afternoon of February 3, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) held a ceremony to announce the decisions and present quality accreditation certificates to 15 academic programs at different levels of the University. The event was organized to acknowledge the persistent efforts, strong sense of responsibility, and collective unity of the entire University in its continuous journey to improve training quality, meet societal demands, and advance higher education integration.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Saigon Center for Education Accreditation, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hạnh Nga, Standing Deputy Director of the Saigon Center for Education Accreditation, and Dr. Lê Hoàng Vũ, Deputy Director of the Saigon Center for Education Accreditation. Representing the Center for Education Accreditation of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City were Mr. Hồ Đắc Hải Miên, M.A., Deputy Director of the Center for Education Accreditation of VNU-HCM; Ms. Võ Thị Trọng Nhân, Deputy Chief of Office of the Center for Education Accreditation of VNU-HCM; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đinh Văn Dũng, Vice Chairman of the Governing Council of the Center for Education Accreditation of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
On the side of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, attendees included Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hoàn, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University; Dr. Thái Doãn Thanh, Vice Rector of the University; Dr. Phan Xuân Cường, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; along with heads and deputy heads of affiliated units, lecturers and staff members currently working and teaching at the University, and students from various faculties.

During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hạnh Nga presented accreditation certificates to four undergraduate programs: Economic Law, International Business, Hotel Management, and Chinese Language.

Next, Mr. Hồ Đắc Hải Miên, M.A., and Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hoàn jointly presented accreditation certificates to two master’s programs in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, as well as three undergraduate programs in Food Business Administration, Fashion and Textile Business, and Marketing.

Mr. Hồ Đắc Hải Miên, M.A., also shared his remarks at the ceremony, highly appreciating the University’s working process and its efforts in reviewing and developing academic programs. He affirmed that the results achieved today form an important foundation for these programs to continue moving forward, cooperating, and developing strongly in the future.

Within the framework of the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đinh Văn Dũng and Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hoàn jointly presented second-cycle accreditation certificates to six undergraduate programs: Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Business Administration, and Accounting.

Also at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đinh Văn Dũng highly appreciated HUIT’s standardization of its working processes with objective evidence. He noted that the awarding of accreditation certificates is one of the important milestones of an effective working process aimed at improving, enhancing, and developing the quality of the University’s education. He also acknowledged Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade for its serious, methodical efforts and its spirit of continuous self-assessment, improvement, and quality enhancement in training.
