On the morning of January 6, 2020, the MOU Signing Ceremony between Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI) and the Department of Science and Technology, Kyungpook National University, Korea (KNU) was organized at HUFI’s meeting room.

Under the MOU, the two sides will coordinate the promotion of educational and research cooperation programs such as student and faculty exchanges, joint research in food science and technology. According to the MOU, since 2020, 05 undergraduate students of each side will be selected and exchanged other. The exchange student must register for a maximum of 6 modules (equivalent to 16 credits) in one semester (5 months) and be fully exempted from tuition as well as dormitory of the school.

After the MOU signing ceremony, the delegation of KNU paid a visit at Faculty of Food Science and Technology (HUFI). The representatives from KNU also had some discussions with HUFI Management Board for educational and academic cooperation.

This MOU is an important basis for promoting cooperation in the field of education and research, offering many opportunities for the development of HUFI and KNU to be stronger, sustainable and effective.
