As part of the series of events within the "Vietnam Youth Red Study Tour," the delegation from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) participated in and left a profound impression at the "China-Vietnam Youth Inheriting the Red Gene" Forum held in China.
On the afternoon of March 30, the "China-Vietnam Youth Inheriting the Red Gene" Forum, organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, officially opened at Hebei Normal University (China). HUIT is proud to be one of the eight representative Vietnamese universities selected to send delegates on this meaningful journey, standing alongside other leading higher education institutions across the country.
The event serves as a key highlight of the "Vietnam Youth Red Study Tour – Ideal Light Research and Study Camp," taking place from March 25 to April 1, 2026, in Yunnan and Hebei provinces (China). This represents a valuable opportunity for HUIT students to engage in international exchange, strengthen diplomatic ties, and explore advanced scientific and technological achievements.

Representing the youthful energy and thirst for knowledge of HUIT students, Nguyen Ngoc Quy—from class 14DHTQ01, majoring in Chinese Studies—shared inspiring reflections on his journey on the sidelines of the forum. Ngoc Quy expressed his excitement and awe when experiencing the academic and practical environment in the host country:
"During this trip, I had the opportunity to visit the Shijiazhuang International Land Port and Hebei University of Science and Technology. These were truly unforgettable experiences, especially witnessing the aircraft flight demonstration, where the planes were designed and operated by the students themselves. Through this, I could clearly feel the extraordinary research and creative capabilities of the students here."
The journey not only provided knowledge but also ignited great motivation for HUIT students.
"This has given me immense inspiration. I hope to continue learning and accumulating knowledge and experience to apply to my future research and career. I also perceive more deeply the profound significance of exchange and cooperation between the youth of our two countries," Ngoc Quy proudly added.

The image of Nguyen Ngoc Quy, confident and radiant during the exchange with students from Hebei University of Science and Technology, has greatly contributed to promoting the dynamic and integrative image of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) students to international friends.
In addition to attending the main forum, the HUIT delegates and the Vietnamese student delegation participated in a series of profound experiential activities. These included visiting President Ho Chi Minh’s former residence in Kunming, attending specialized seminars, and engaging in direct academic exchanges with students from leading Chinese institutions, such as Yunnan University and Hebei University of Science and Technology.
The active participation in such high-level international youth forums once again reaffirms HUIT's strategic direction: creating maximum opportunities for students to embrace global integration, broaden their worldviews, and equip themselves with the solid foundation needed to become future "global citizens."
