On September 18, 2019, the meeting between President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI) and Leader delegation of Meiho University (MU) was held at HUFI.

Under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Xuan Hoan Nguyen, PhD – HUFI’s President, with the attendance of Dr. Tan Hiep Dang – Institute for International Cooperation and Training, Director;  On the MU’s side, there were Ping-Cheng Yang MD - Board of Trustees of MU, Prof. Shun-Hsiang Weng – MU’s President, Dr. Hung-Kai Yen - Dean of International and Cross-Strait Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Kuo-Tung Huan - Director of Information Networking and Library Center.

On the meeting, Ping-Cheng Yang MD congratulated to Assoc. Prof. Xuan Hoan Nguyen was trusted by Minister of Industry and Trade Vietnam, and awarded a president announcement of HUFI term 2019-2024. Ping-Cheng Yang MD expressed his desire for the bilateral partnership between two sides on the years that followed, and then continue to develop the various joint programs.

President Xuan Hoan Nguyen thanked  MU leader delegation for their visit HUFI, he also believed that the two sides’ cooperation in recent years continues acting as a bridge on the development cooperation between HUFI and MU. The HUFI’s president also highly appreciated result of collaboration over the past years, it brought enormous two universities’ benefits as well as a bridge for HUFI’s students were learned in an educational prestige along with quality.

After hearing the report on the outcomes of cooperative discussion from two universities in the future, both presidents agreed through the cooperation planning between two parties.
