From the Rector to all faculty members, staff, and employees of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT)
Dear Faculty Members and Colleagues,
As the spring of the Year of the Horse brings renewed energy and new beginnings, I would like to extend my warmest New Year wishes to all faculty members, staff, and employees of the University. I wish you good health, peace, prosperity, and continued inspiration for innovation.
The Year of the Horse, a symbol of resilience, swiftness, and a pioneering spirit, opens before us a new journey and also marks a crucial stage in realizing HUIT’s strategic vision. With the mission of educating high-quality human resources who are responsible, creative, and highly adaptable for the industry and trade sectors as well as the digital economy, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade continues to affirm its role as a center of knowledge dedicated to sustainable values and national development.
Beginning in 2026, HUIT enters a period of strategic acceleration. This will be a year of breakthroughs in several key areas:
(1) Advancing training quality through curriculum standardization, stronger digital transformation, greater emphasis on experiential learning and practice, and the promotion of creativity and entrepreneurship among learners.
(2) Strengthening the University’s workforce by enhancing professional qualifications, research capacity, and management skills, while building an academic environment that is professional, exemplary, and deeply humane.
(3) Accelerating investment in facilities and infrastructure, with a focus on developing modern, synchronized, green, and smart systems for teaching, research, and applied innovation, while expanding learning spaces and student support services.
(4) Promoting scientific research and technology transfer through the development of strong research groups, expanded international cooperation, and the advancement of products with real practical value for businesses and society.
(5) Improving the quality of student services by creating an educational environment that is safe, friendly, and creative, and by inspiring in every learner the aspiration to contribute.
(6) Fostering HUIT culture on the foundation of its core values — Humanity, Unity, Innovation, and Pioneering — as guiding principles for all actions.
The achievements of the University in recent years are the result of the dedication, intellect, and persistent efforts of our faculty members and colleagues. Looking ahead, I firmly believe that the collective strength, sense of responsibility, and aspiration for advancement shared by our educators, students, and learners will create new momentum for development. Together, we will continue to build HUIT into a reputable university in the region with growing international standing and meaningful contributions to the development of Ho Chi Minh City and the nation.
