Submission Method:

Submit directly at: Postgraduate Management Department, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade.

 ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY

General Requirements for Applicants:

Academic Qualification: Must have a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with Honors or higher in a relevant field (or Level 7 equivalent under the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework). Applicants from "closely related fields" must complete supplementary courses as required.

Standards: Meet the entry requirements issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and the specific doctoral program.

Research Experience: Demonstrated through a research-oriented Master’s thesis, published scientific papers/reports, or at least 24 months of working experience as a lecturer or researcher.

Planning: Have a draft research proposal and a tentative full-course study and research plan.

Foreign Language Proficiency (Vietnamese Citizens):

Must be evidenced by one of the following:

A degree from a foreign institution or a foreign-linked program in Vietnam taught in a foreign language.

A Bachelor’s degree in a foreign language major.

A valid foreign language certificate equivalent to Level 4/6 (B2) or higher according to the VSTEP framework or equivalent certificates recognized by the MOET (Appendix II).

Foreign Applicants:

If studying in Vietnamese, must have a Vietnamese language certificate of at least Level 4 and meet the second foreign language requirements of the University.

Supervisors:

Each PhD student has a maximum of two supervisors. At least one must be a full-time faculty member or researcher of HUIT.

 

Supervisors must meet the standards specified in Appendix III.
