On the morning of March 22, 2026, the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade solemnly organized the ceremony to review the “Good at National Work, Responsible at Home” emulation movement in 2025 and launch the movement for 2026. This meaningful activity was held to acknowledge and commend the outstanding contributions of female trade union members and employees in their work, teaching, and research, while also honoring women who continuously strive to nurture their families and preserve the fine values of the Vietnamese family.

Speaking at the commendation ceremony, Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hoàn, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, dedication, and enduring contributions of female trade union members over the past period. He affirmed that the achievements resulting from the emulation movement not only contributed to improving the quality of trade union activities, but also played an important role in building a civilized and progressive educational environment where every staff member, lecturer, and employee has the opportunity to develop their capabilities, affirm their personal value, and contribute to the sustainable development of the University.

In 2025, the “Good at National Work, Responsible at Home” emulation movement continued to be implemented extensively and received enthusiastic support from female staff members and employees across the University. Through this movement, many exemplary role models were identified and widely recognized, contributing to affirming the image of HUIT women as dynamic, responsible, dedicated, resilient, and full of aspiration to contribute in the new era.

At the program, the University commended and awarded 126 outstanding female trade union members for their achievements in the 2025 emulation movement. These exemplary individuals not only fulfilled their professional duties with excellence and made positive contributions to the overall development of their units, but were also women who know how to keep the flame of family happiness alive and spread humane values throughout the community.

The program took place in a solemn atmosphere and left many positive impressions on delegates and attendees. This was not only a well-deserved recognition of the silent yet persistent contributions of female trade union members, but also a profound affirmation of the role, position, and noble values that HUIT women are nurturing day by day for the University, their families, and society.

At the ceremony, the Executive Committee of the University Trade Union also officially launched the emulation movement for the new academic year 2025–2026. Through this initiative, the Trade Union hopes to continue promoting the fine traditions of Vietnamese women and building the image of HUIT women as modern, confident, creative, responsible, and compassionate.
