On the morning of November 28, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) had the honor of hosting and collaborating with the delegation from the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City.

Visiting and working at HUIT, the delegation from the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City included Mr. Tu Chau - Deputy Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City, and Mr. Luc Binh - Head of the Office. On behalf of the university, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Hong Anh - Vice President and Mr. Dang Tan Hiep - Head of the Office of International Cooperation and Postgraduate Affairs were present.

During the working session, Vice President Le Thi Hong Anh expressed gratitude to the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City for their support to the university. Vice President Le Thi Hong Anh conveyed her delight at the opportunity to meet and work with the working delegation from the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City.

The representative of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City highly appreciated the achievements that HUIT has attained in recent times. They expressed their commitment to further research, review information, and facilitate collaboration between the university and educational organizations in China. This collaboration aims to align with the university’s strengths in education, scientific research, and developmental direction.

Also, during the visit and working session, Mr. Tu Chau, representing the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City, donated 50 million VND to the university’s scholarship fund. This contribution aims to enhance the spirit of learning and research, opening up additional opportunities for the university's students.
