On the afternoon of February 26, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) successfully held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with National United University (NUU), marking an important milestone in their educational partnership.

Representing HUIT were Dr. Thái Doãn Thanh, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đặng Tấn Hiệp, Head of the International Cooperation Office; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Huy Hoàng, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngô Thanh An, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering; and Mr. Đào Văn Dưỡng, Assistant for Postgraduate Programs in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology.

From National United University, the delegation included Prof. Bor-Liang Chen, Dean of the College of Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Quoc-Hung Phan, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering; and Prof. Shao-Yu Wang, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Thái Doãn Thanh emphasized that the collaboration between HUIT and NUU would significantly enhance training quality, particularly in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Chemical Engineering Technology. The agreement provides opportunities for academic exchange, scientific research collaboration, and student access to advanced education systems, strengthening their international competitiveness.
