Experiences and practical professions skills are significantly important elements of higher education, especially in 4.0 era. In the other hand, education process not only provides academic knowledge but also brings chances to practice the career skills before participate in labour market.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry, a public university under management of Ministry of Industry and Trade, has built multidisciplinary and multi-major educational strategy. FESTO is a company specializing in PLC, industrial automation and multinational intelligent manufacture system with the headquater locates in Germany. FESTO Didatic is market leader company specializing in providing educational technical equipment all over the world.

Two organizations find many similarities in the visions, missions, and orientations of both. Therefore, on 08th September 2021, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry and FESTO Vietnam signed cooperation agreement in many aspects, such as: consultant, providing international level educational system and short-term training courses, cooperating in liberal education for machine manufacturing and mechatronics majors group for lecturers, students inside and ouside of HUFI. Faculty of Mechanical Technology is the unit that is responsible for conducting cooperation agreement between HUFI and FESTO Vietnam.

In the ceremony, Mr. Thai Doan Thanh, Vice President of HUFI, and Mr Trương Ngọc Hoàng, Director of FESTO Didatic highly agree together that the successful cooperation between HUFI and FESTO is a great chance not only for HUFI students, lecturers to improve themself but also a good support for training process and developing high quality labour force for Vietnam market.

Mr. Do Huu Hoang, Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Technology, commits to urgently conduct the signed cooperation agreement between two sides and express the trust in prosperous consequence from the agreement.
