Dr. Thai Doan Thanh delivers his welcome remarks.

From the partner side, Prof. Chen, Tien-Hui noted that Taiwan Steel University of Science and Technology is affiliated with Taiwan Steel Group (TSG) – the leading steel corporation in Taiwan, comprising approximately 60 subsidiaries. With strong investment from TSG, the University has outstanding advantages in training technology and engineering disciplines closely aligned with industry practices.

Prof. Chen, Tien-Hui discusses potential areas of cooperation between the two institutions.

Under the agreement, both sides will implement various practical initiatives, notably an international second-degree program designed for engineering students. After graduating from HUIT, students will have the opportunity to pursue a two-year study and internship program in Taiwan, enhancing their professional knowledge and gaining international experience. Upon completion, students will be awarded a degree by Taiwan Steel University of Science and Technology.

The two institutions officially sign the cooperation agreement.

Notably, participating students will receive support for application processing fees and airfare. During their time in Taiwan, students will be granted a 100% tuition waiver in the first year. In the second year, they will undertake paid internships at partner enterprises with an average monthly income of approximately VND 30 million.
