More than just a job fair, “Career Connect 2026” also took on the role of a “future transit station”—where students take their first steps from the classroom into the labor market, and where businesses find promising pieces for their human resource puzzle.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Thai Doan Thanh, Vice Rector of the University, emphasized the importance of connecting training with real-world practice, while affirming that this is a practical activity that helps students improve their integration capacity and proactively adapt to the ever-increasing demands of the labor market.

This year’s fair brought together many reputable companies in fields such as finance and banking, commerce, education, human resources, and retail, offering hundreds of job and internship opportunities. No longer limited to dry CVs, students had the opportunity to meet recruiters directly, exchange ideas, attend interviews, and demonstrate their abilities right at the event.

A special feature of “Career Connect 2026” lay not only in its direct recruitment activities, but also in its series of comprehensive support experiences, including labor law consultation, free health check-ups for job application documents, access to online employment platforms, and interactive activities with attractive gifts.
The opening ceremony took place in a solemn yet dynamic atmosphere, officially launching a series of activities connecting students and businesses. Immediately afterward, the recruitment booths quickly became “hotspots” with ongoing interviews and exchanges taking place continuously.
“Career Connect 2026” continues to affirm the strategic orientation of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade in linking training with social needs, placing learners at the center, and employment as the desired outcome. It is not only an annual event, but is gradually becoming a sustainable bridge between the University – Businesses – Students within the ecosystem for developing high-quality human resources.

Amid the many encounters taking place today, there may be opportunities being opened, new journeys beginning, and career dreams becoming clearer than ever before. For HUIT, each job fair is not merely an event, but a commitment: a commitment to practice-oriented education, and a commitment to accompanying learners all the way to the final touchpoint employment and career.
And perhaps, among today’s hurried handshakes, long journeys will begin, and career dreams will quietly be called by name yet with enough power to change an entire future.
